So, the other day I was bored and decided to google my maiden name. I wasn't taken aback to see some of the stuff that came up... but THEN!!...
To my surprise, an old poem that I completely forgot about that I wrote came up under poetry.com. I published this poem on sort of a whim 11 years ago in order to get a book of my own poems made (which I ended up not doing, go figure).
Anyway, I tried to figure out how to get rid of it on the internet, but to no avail. I feel embarrassed that I did such a stupid thing, not realizing anyone would be able to read my poem...since it's a pretty personal poem. I know, I know, who's gonna find my poem, seriously! Bored people like me? You don't know.
So, this is me sharing my "famous" poem openly and willingly so that I can say,
"Take that!--You nasty, unforgetful internet, you! I choose to share this poem with my friends and anyone else that peruses your blasted, intricate web!"

I guess once you blog and have a facebook account your life is never ever private again. Sort of. Google can be the best and the worse thing sometimes...but I love google.
