Here are 10 reasons why I am a lover of the Sun.
1. It evens out my brown skin with a touch of bronze. :)
2. I love the natural smell it brings out of skin (not to be confused with b.o. :)).
3. It's warmth calms me and reminds me of simple pleasures.
4. It makes me stop and listen (to nothing) when its rays have captured an awesome scene in nature; such magnificence humbles me.
5. It reminds of being at home on the beach... a place where I'll always long to be.
6. It helps food grow. I eat food. I love food. Food is good.
7. When I watch it set, I feel a sense of gratitude for the day I've lived and for the one that comes next.
8. When it, all of a sudden, peaks through the clouds and brightens my surroundings, I like to think God is smiling in that moment and that everything is going to be okay.
9. It gives us energy.
10. It shines on everyone; it has no prejudice.

i love it for all the same reasons you do. it's wonderful.
i don't like it for the wrinkles it has given me.
but, it's worth taking the bad with the good, right?

alas, tis true the melting star in the sky transforms our supple beauty into an eventual wrinkly mess...
but they say our wrinkles tell us a lot about our lives and just how much we've "lived"... a cool thing to think about...
but who am i kidding, i'd rather look young than old any day.
