I love me some him!

The music I am most fond of is "Soul." My very first love, at the age of 5, was Stevie Wonder, who my dad used to play for me every night before bed.

This man's soft masculinity and intoxicating, sensual vocals comfort and console me when I feel broken. His often melodramatic neo-soul and falsetto voice do not speak to everyone, but if you are a kindred spirit I know you hear him like I do. AND I NEED TO HEAR MORE OF HIM!! When's his Black Summers' Night album coming out??! Anyone?... Anyone?! The anticipation kills! Lemme know if you guys have heard a specific date.

Here are my favorite Maxwell pieces:

-whenever, wherever, whatever
-reunion
-submerge
-know these things
-lifetime
-get to know ya
-silently
-symptom unknown
-this woman's work (gotta listen to this one when you're feelin' all sappy...GOOD STUFF)...go ahead, have a listen...

-now at the party (this one makes my husband laugh... whatever...he's just too white for his own good... but I still got him hooked on Maxwell).

How ironic, my Dad blasted Stevie for us too. He was my first childhood crush. :)
