First of all, I guess you have to believe that we exist after this life if you're going to contemplate this question seriously. But supposing we do... will I still be the Filipino/Puerto Rican/Danish/Scottish/English (aka "part-White") dish that I am or will I take on a completely different "race"... one that is not of this world? Now before you start giving me the look I know you're giving me, hear me out.
It all started when one day, a few years back, a guy I was out on a date with asked the same question, "Are we all one race after this life?"...and to make matters worse, he was a straight-laced, white, mormon boy so I was quick to interpret the race he was referring to as "White"...which isn't what he asked (Are we all White after this life?), but regardless, I was livid that he would suggest the possibility of God taking away our uniqueness, our earthly heritages, and the beautiful variety of culture that make us who we are in this world. So, I retorted, "Um, No, because God loves variety, and made us different for a reason!" But now when I think about it... they are "earthly" heritages... and they make us who we are because we live in this world. And isn't it a shame that we, as human beings, don't ALL know how to accept and embrace these differences? So maybe we're better off chucking the whole race thing out the window! Maybe that's it... not just one race, but no race at all?! If so, will I still have my awesome brown skin?
What do YOU think?

Hi! I just stumbled upon your blog via babies, bottles...I wonder what the Bible says about that topic. Really interesting...I think we are all exactly the same as we are now. Wouldn't that be weird to meet Malcom X in heaven and he's ass white!?! Probably a personal hell for some people...
The Bible talks about people from "every tribe and tongue and nation" praising God in heaven. The writer was able to distinguish multiple races there. So I imagine we DO keep our unique variations and histories.
