the "Big Braddah Combo"...teri chicken and teri beef, with sticky rice and mac salad. (I had to pull the Styrofoam plate away from his face when he got to the bottom)
And this is was mine. I must admit that I was a little disappointed, as this is one of my local favorites (Kalua Pork with cabbage)... much too salty for me, but the flavor was otherwise good.We went back several months later...and they redeemed themselves with their "Loco Moco" (no it's not a crazy booger). Hands down one of the best I've tried... and I've tried them all! I don't have a pic of that meal... but I am embarrassed to say that I POUNDED that plate!
So, if you're in Maui, and looking to experience some authentic local cuisine, stop by "Da Kicthen". And if you like Korean BBQ, YOU HAVE TO GO TO---> Pearl's in the Kaahumanu Mall. Get the bbq chicken plate, with kim chee and sprouts! THAT IS WHERE IT'S AT! If there's one thing I miss about home...it's definitely the food!
