Pregnancy bloggityblogblahblah...

So I'm almost 38 wks pregnant. I work full time. I waddle everywhere I go and my groin hurts even when I'm lying down. True story.

Here are some more pregnancy # 2 facts... (and by #2, I refer to the fetus, not bm... just wanted to clarify)


-I gained 23 lbs with my precious little Maxwell, who came out 6 lbs 4 oz (due to being attached to my abnormal umb cord that had only two vessels instead of 3).

-I've gained 47 lbs with this one and it's not over, folks.

-My mother had three 8 pounders and one 9 pounder. This baby I carry has a normal 3 vessel umb cord so she's getting what she needs and then some-- that said, I am currently a fatty watty and scared for her exit.

-I'm not carrying twins.

-I've already birthed several new stretch marks... if these ever become sexy, I will be the sexiest woman alive!

-The other day on the phone with a customer at work, baby girl kicked me so hard that I yelped out loud. Started to laugh. Explained to cust why the outburst. Customer silent. No courtesy laugh or empathy offered by cust. I moved on. So did she. Jerk.

-With Maxwell, I slept with 2 or 3 pillows. Baby girl forces me to use 4-7 pillows.

-This does not guarantee sleep.

-Thanks to sit-down job, my feet and ankles are swollen beauties.

-Shaving and putting on shoes are a biznatch.

-The only difference between me and my uncle's incontinent 200 lb Akita is that he's a dog. Okay, I can hold it for a little bit. But seriously, poop and pee have no place to reside within me for very long. I need one of those chairs that has a built-in toilet. Ha!

-And finally, I have to end with this, because it really does trump all of the above. My complainy bum is more excited than it could ever express for my baby girl to join our family and for all the many excuses to blog she'll bring! That's a fact-- a fat fact! Err...I'm a fat fact. Either way, I'm happy in the end. Call me happy fatty! :D
