Who needs mommies when you've got aunties and uncles?

(I posted these videos on facebook but just for family...for a few reasons...anyhoo, I wanted to share them with you as well).

So, for the past three days, Max has had some sort of a flu bug. On the first day, I came home from work while on the phone with my sister in law, Dori. I appeared at the top of the stairs, anticipating a big smile and some energy from my boy, but instead, I got this flat stare that slowly interchanged between me and the tv, as if he were drugged. As I continued to gab with Dori and suspected something was "off" with Max, I decided to pick him up. Whoa. HIGH FEVER! I quickly got off the phone, rushed Max upstairs, and drew him a lukewarm bath. All the while, Max called out for his "E T DORI" and "Uncle Deaf," whom he's only seen in person TWICE in his life... so it was unexpected, yet undeniably priceless. So, I got it on tape and it brought them to tears. (Forgive the heavy breathing... I ran up three flights of stairs to catch this on tape).

p.s. just a note to all the babies out there with loving mamas: Hey, it wouldn't hurt to pretend you need your mama too, when you're sick and all cuddly wuddly... just sayin'. *sniff sniff* :P

Ahhhh, Lucky people! I love when he is saying uncle deaf! and then agreeing saying Okaaaay! Super cute!

There is nothing worse than when your child is feeling ill. The worst feeling is not being able to do anything for him or to make it better right away.
Hope he feels better soon!
