I can't help myself. Pretty much everything Max says or does is hilarious or just down right adorable... so I have to share.
I love to watch him discover new ways to interact with his environment. For example, a long time ago, Max learned to mimic mommy and daddy using the phone by putting it up to his ear. Then, gradually, he started adding to this activity by actually pretending as if he were talking to someone by spitting out these long sentences (pure gibberish, of course). Now, I've discovered that before talking he'll always say, "LO LO LO!"...which is immediately followed with, "HI!...Okay, yes" (and lots more gibberish) So I can only assume that "LO LO LO!" is his way of ringing the phone before he answers it. I wish I had it on tape so you could see how cute it is.
But here's something I DID capture on tape. (Ever since Max discovered the blowing of bubbles, he's been a big fan. He's gone from loving to watch, to wanting to hold the bottle and bubble blower thingy, to learning to blowing them himself). Well, the other day, Max told the bubbles to "WAIT!" and it cracked me up. See for yourself...

So cute. Isn't motherhood wonderful? I can't believe your baby is two. Last time I saw you we sat next to each other in a sacrament meeting. You were pregnant and not even showing. Today I am grateful for blogging and how it keeps friends connected. Thanks Jess.
