Happy Birthday to us!

Thirty one years ago this morning, my husband and I were born two hours and 2500 miles apart.

It's fun to share the same birthday! We've found entertainment in our childhood similarities, having lived through the 80s and 90s at exactly the same age...

like having the same awesome early 80s toys!-- Fisher Price's Parking Garage with a crank elevator? So cool. We both loved playing with it. And would you believe, he still has it at his parents house where Max plays with it for hours? Oh the shared family sweetness!

We also experienced much of the same types of awkward moments growing up at the same time in life (i.e. songs we danced to at church dances… the WAY we danced at those hip events...the styles we shared being from the same era…and so forth)!

And yeah, we're just equally awesome, except I'm two hours older, so I'm smarter and cooler because of it.

Overall, having the same birthday makes a good excuse for partying harder and making things extra speshul-er on our day!

Here's to a year of good fortune and good times, Sugar Lips!

Happy Birthday! That is so much fun...my husband and I are 4 days apart and we keep thinking we need to turn our individual celebrations into one big hooplah!

That's awesome that you have the same birthday as your husband. I didn't know that. That is a good reason for extra celebration. That would be fun.

Congrats and happy belated. I had no idea you and your hubby shared the same birthday. How fun! This is random, but I was just thinking of you today and thought I'd get on and felicitarte the 10th anniversary of the day we entered the MTC. Wow, how time flies! I am so glad I met you there and we are still in touch!
