2009, gimme a break!

I seriously need one, man. No seriously. First, you gave me a root canal (without dental insurance...1500 big ones), then, shortly after that you hit me with this bizarre anaphylaxis and chronic angioedema out of NO WHERE and without a clue for 3 months till my allergist finally gave up. (And guys?...I am still a freak of nature and have to take zyrtec and singulair every night to mask my symptoms so i don't look like the elephant man or stop breathing during my sleep. it's awesome.)
THEEEEEEN... my husband drops a knife on his left foot, passes out, and breaks his right leg, and the e.d. gave us a fatty bill of a couple grand... oh yeah, and now, he may need surgery cuz it's not healing well. Hmmmmm... anything else?

I'm sorry, guys, misery loves company... share your misfortunes with me please! Maybe it'll help me feel more grateful for what's not going wrong.

p.s. My picture doesn't do me justice... and I promise you that you do NOT wanna see the massive hives.
p.p.s. I floss daily and brush twice a day...AAAAND gargle with Liste-freaking-rine!

Okay...I seriously thought you posted a close picture of the "OctoMom" when I open your blog page! I'm still laughing!...you have that power in me Jess! I love you more just for posting this picture!
On the other hand, I'm sorry this is happening to you! I have no idea how to handle pain, or physical discomfort, so...hang in there, I don't know what else to say!
This post make my miseries look really tiny...I wish we could live closer so I could help you with Max or...I don't know, bring a meal.
I love you...2009 is almost over!

Hey... this might help if it continues to be a problem: http://www.hereditaryangioedema.com/
You can have a dna test run. We're pretty sure Mandy has it (and my mom had it) except Mandy's is internal swelling. She's been in and out of hospitals since she was 7 with it -- I'll pray for you!!!!
